Where do the updates come from?

From publicly available, official sources: developer and publisher announcements, patch notes and news posts. Every alert links back to the original post so you can read it in full.

Which games can I follow?

The games in the live feed above, from competitive shooters to survival sandboxes. The list of supported games grows over time, and your watchlist can include as many of them as you like.

How do alerts reach me?

By email. Each update arrives as a short summary in the inbox you already use. You choose which kinds of updates you want for each game: patches, releases, maintenance or events.

Is there a mobile app?

No, and you don't need one. Alerts are regular emails, so they reach your phone through the mail app you already have. Turn on notifications for that app if you want to hear about updates right away.

Can I trust the summaries?

Summaries condense the publisher's own words. We don't add opinions, leaks or rumours, and the official post is always one tap away if you want every detail.

Are you affiliated with game publishers?

No. GameUpdate is an independent service. Game names and images belong to their owners and are shown only to identify the games we cover.

How does billing work?

Plans are billed in US dollars through Stripe: $4.99 monthly, $10.99 every 3 months or $39.99 yearly. Your plan renews automatically at the same price until you cancel.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from the billing portal in your dashboard in a couple of clicks. You keep your alerts until the end of the period you've already paid for.

We have a small patch today that fixes an issue which has caused some players to have duplicated terrains and decreased performance.
For those of you who have run into the issue of incorrectly having items marked as cheated: We have a planned fix for this, but as it’s a fix that has to be…
Regarding lost levels on items:
An important message regarding the previous fix to where items on item stands or armour stands would lose their levels and variants.
The good news is that there is a workaround if you are affected by this, either:
Revert your world from the backup which was made when you first loaded the new save format.
Or, make a copy of your backup, and enter into the backuped world, then put all your affected on to your character, and go back to your main world and replace…
