Weeks are held for 30 minutes while you check out. Your card is only authorized at checkout and charged when we approve the sponsorship (usually within one business day). If we can't run it, the authorization is released and you pay nothing. Payments are processed by Stripe, which emails your receipt.

Questions

Who sees my sponsorship?

"Featured on landing" runs on gameupdate.org's home page and public update feed, which players visit to discover and follow games. "Featured in alert emails" appears inside the patch, release and maintenance alerts our paying members receive, optionally only for followers of the games you pick.

Can someone else take the same week?

No. There is one sponsor per placement per week. When you start checkout, your weeks are held for you for 30 minutes so nobody can book them out from under you.

When am I charged?

Only when we approve. Checkout authorizes your card; we review every sponsorship, usually within one business day, and capture the payment on approval. If we can't run it, we release the authorization and you pay nothing. Once approved you get a private link to impressions and clicks.

What do you not accept?

Gambling, real-money trading, NFTs, adult content, key resellers and grey-market stores, misleading claims, and anything that isn't a real game, DLC or gaming product. Your link must go to a page about the game you list.

Do I get a receipt?

Yes. Stripe emails a receipt when your card is charged on approval. Need a formal invoice with your company details? Reply to that receipt and we'll send one.

Need something custom, like a longer run or a launch-week bundle? Email support@pixelgoblin.link. Sponsorships are sold under our Terms.
